Our class will be using a consistent grading policy. Summative assessments will be used to measure a student's learning at the end of a unit, such as a unit test or an essay. Formative assessments will be used to track student's progress. In addition, students are required to turn in weekly homework packets and complete in-class assignments such as quizzes, notes, group work, discussion and in-class presentations. Work habits will measure a student's participation in class and overall preparedness.
